So hard to believe that this gorgeous mommy already has 3 children. We had such a fun session. I had a blast creating these images.
Fall is my favorite season in Canada. One of the things that I love about Canada is how distinct the seasons are. You don’t see it as clearly in South Africa. I’m so glad I got out to do a few family portraits in the gorgeous fall colours this year again.
This is going to be a photo overload post, but it’s really hard to narrow down pictures from a day as amazing as this one. Kara and Travis got married on their Ranch – Wine Glass Ranch. What a spectacular property. The views are incredible. Kara never missed a single detail when she planned out her day. Everything was perfect and so obviously had her personal touch and style. I had so much fun with you guys, it was a pleasure sharing your day with you. Enjoy these few previews. I have another 800+ where these came from LOL.
A little while ago I did a give away for a fall family session on Live Cosmo.com I was surprised and extremely happy that one of my past clients actually won the give-away. I actually did some wedding photos for this couple. I enjoyed catching up again. Here are a few of my favorites. Go and check out Live Cosmo’s website. They have some awesome give-aways and daily deals too.
I love seeing the same client more than once and when there are children involved, I so enjoy seeing how they have grown and changed. These 2 sweethearts were still as cute and beautiful as they were the first time I met them.

I know my blog is terribly neglected at the moment. My Facebook page is updated more often, but I’m going to try harder to keep this up to date too.
I thought I’d kick off my new leaf with a newly edited session of 2 gorgeous little girls, full of personality. They were loads of fun to photograph.
I stumbled across this blog a month or so ago. I was so touched by the story that this family had to tell. So touched by the strength of this mother, the support and love of this father and the courage of this little girl. I decided that I wanted to contribute and do something nice for them too. I climbed into my mommy mobile and headed into the mountains to Nelson, British Columbia. I went to photograph this amazing family. I wanted to give them something that no amount of time or change would ever be able to take away.
I’m posting just a few of my favorites from the day. I have so many but given that it is Camara’s birthday today, I really wanted to get a few up for her and Brent to see.
Older sister Solara wasn’t home on Wednesday, but I found a way to make sure that she wasn’t forgotten either.
I’m a much better person for meeting you amazing people, Camara, Brent and Anaya. Thank you and happy travels.
xoxo ~Carol~
PS Happy, happy birthday Camara.
I had the pleasure of being part of an awesome team who photographed this event which has become a great Calgary tradition over the years. If you see your photo here and would like a copy, drop me an email and I will send you a copy.
